Jennifer Mulligan
Born in Port Jefferson, New York, Attorney Jennifer Mulligan was raised in South Florida from a young age and considers herself a true Floridian. With a deep passion for the ocean and boating, it is only natural for Jennifer to find herself working in the field of maritime law.
Jennifer graduated with honors from Florida Atlantic University in 1999, majoring in Criminal Justice and minoring in Communications. She then went on to obtain her law degree with honors from Nova Southeastern University in 2002, where she also served as an Editor for the Nova Southeastern University Law Review.
After becoming an attorney, Jennifer continued to channel her love of research and writing, finding great satisfaction in utilizing her persuasive and analytical writing skills to advocate for her clients.
Outside of her legal practice at Davant Law, Jennifer also leads an active boating lifestyle with her husband and three sons. Each summer, they embark on exciting adventures on their 30-foot catamaran, exploring the wonders of the ocean and spending countless hours swimming, fishing, snorkeling, and exploring reefs and wrecks. This personal connection to the ocean further enhances Jennifer’s expertise in maritime law, as she understands firsthand the joys and challenges that come with navigating the seas.
In her downtime, Jennifer enjoys cultivating connections around the world through the art of written correspondence. She is an active participant in the Postcrossing project, exchanging postcards with people from different countries. Additionally, she and her family enjoy international travel and visiting the world’s great art museums.
With her professional experience, personal passion, and a talent for connecting with others, Jennifer is a tenacious advocate who understands the complexities of maritime law and is dedicated to securing the best outcomes for her clients.
