Shayna Hudson
Shayna Hudson is an Attorney at Davant Law, specializing in Medicare law and federal practice. Born and raised in Miami Gardens, Shayna has always been fascinated by the power of law to create positive change in the community. Inspired by Thurgood Marshall and his impactful work, she embarked on a journey to become a trusted legal professional.
Shayna obtained her bachelor’s degree in economics from Florida International University (FIU), where she graduated summa cum laude and was a proud member of FIU’s Honors College. Continuing her pursuit of legal knowledge, Shayna earned her Juris Doctor from FIU College of Law. In recognition of not just her academic achievements but also her commitment to making a difference beyond the courtroom, Shayna was honored with the prestigious Caribbean Bar Association (CBA) scholarship in 2014.
Before joining the legal team at Davant Law in October 2023, Shayna worked at MSP Recovery Law Firm from late 2015 to early 2023. It was during this time that she further delved into the intricacies of Medicare law and federal practice, solidifying her expertise in these areas.
Maritime law is uniquely appealing to Shayna both from a historical perspective and a modern point of view, recognizing the significant influence that waterways have on various aspects of life, be it travel, entertainment, or business.
